Keep the shovel at the bottom of the stairs to clear them. Dangerous wildlife is common here. Please avoid leaving trash in or around your vehicle. The cabin is professionally cleaned before each stay, but as it's in the mountains, occasional spiders, insects, cobwebs, or mice may appear. These are normal and don't reflect the cleanliness of the cabin The cabin is mainly heated by the wood stove (with provided wood), which warms the main level and loft. The basement has a mini-split controlled by a thermostat, and electric wall heaters on the first two floors are for backup use only. No refunds or cancellations due to weather. Power outages may occur during extreme weather or wildfire seasons. A flashlight and lantern are provided near the front door as part of the mountain experience. Cell service can be spotty in the mountains so always download offline maps before heading to the mountains. •CAMERAS• We have two security cameras on the property: one facing the driveway and one as a Ring doorbell. These cameras are for your safety and will not be actively monitored during your stay. •SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS• The cabin sleeps 10 adults comfortably. For 12-14 people (including children), you can use futons, mini cribs, and bed sharing. Check the bedroom and bed setups to ensure it works for your group. •HAZARDS TO NOTE• Open Loft & Slat Staircase: Supervise young children in the loft area. Wood Burning Stove: Keep children away as it gets very hot. Native Animals: No fencing, direct access to wildlife. Steep Stairs: Not suitable for elderly guests.
